Calcium Rich Fish, Strong Bones & Good Health



Just as bones store calcium, fish bones do, too. Those tiny bones in sardines, whitebait etc hold high levels of calcium. Sardines have 320 mg per 85 g of fish.  European thinking has been that dairy was the best source of calcium (with fats), but the healthiest source of calcium is in fish. The evidence is in, seafood promotes bone density when consumed.
